First Lutheran Church is a vibrant and friendly congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America located in the Northern Illinois Synod. Founded by Swedish immigrants in 1858, First Lutheran has particularly strong music, children's, and youth programs, and a strong tradition of supporting the fine arts.
