Cross Walk Sunday @ First Lutheran

Sunday School programming for age 3 - 6th grade. Cross Walk Sunday (CWS) begins after worship, lasting from 10:20 until 11:20. CWS is organized by rotations, each rotation lasting 3 weeks and focusing on a particular Bible story. Students experience one of 9 different workshops each week: Peter's Theater (puppets), Peter's Theater (drama), Living Word (literature), Scripture Cinema (film), Good News Station WWJD (TV), Salvation Stadium (games), Cookin' with Jesus, Apostle's Art Studio, and Cornerstone Computer Lab.

Children age 3 - Kindergarten visit a workshop for 20 minutes, attend music, and have homeroom each week. Children in grades 1 - 6 visit a workshop for 40 minites and attend music each week. 

Annual special events involving our CWS students include:
                               Rally Day to kick off the year (September)
                               Christmas Program (December)
                               Mother's Day Program (May)

Students in grades 1-6 perform puppet shows and dramas for each other and the younger students.
  Living Word
Cross Walk Sunday students experience literature and activities related to the rotation's Bible story.
  Cornerstone Computer Lab
Students experience Bible stories and messages through computer programs and internet activities.
  Salvation Stadium
Students learn rotation's bible story through a variety of games.
  Scripture Cinema
Students view a film version of the Bible story.
Good News Station WWJD Good News Station WWJD
Students create a TV show that represents the rotation's Bible Story
  Apostle's Art Studio
Students create art projects reflecting a Bible story and/or its message.
  Cookin' with Jesus
Students cook or bake food that reflects the rotation's Bible story and/or message.
  Homeroom
Students age 3 - Kindergarten attend homeroom to do age appropriate activities related to the rotation's Bible story and message.
