We're a partner congregation with Love INC of DeKalb/Sycamore, an organization of 32 churches working together to better meet the needs of people seeking help - Love INC (Love In the Name of Christ) We are a partner congregation of Love INC of DeKalb/Sycamore, http://www.loveincdeksyc.org/an organization of 32 churches in the community, working together to better meet the needs of people who come seeking help of one kind or another from the member churches. Love INC acts as a clearninghouse by identifying needs that are not being adequately met by agencies in the community, working with churches to fill these with GAP ministries, and referring people in need to the churches that can help with their specific needs. Our GAP ministry at First Lutheran is the Linen Closet. The 'Linen Sisters' at First Lutheran provide sheets, pillows, towels for bed, bath and kitchen to people who need them through Love INC and direct connections to area community service agencies.Learn more about Love INC of DeKalb/Sycamore at http://www.loveincdeksyc.org/
