3rd & 4th Grade Bible Sunday 2007

Give Sunday School a Try!
We believe children are a vital part of our church. We believe it is important to build a firm foundation in Christ during the formative years.

Visitors
Visitors are welcome any time. We hope your child(ren) will have fun, meet new people, and most importantly enjoy learning about God's love for us. You are more than welcome to pick any Sunday to visit. When you arrive ask for Mary Jean Bauling or a Sunday School Coordinator to assist you in finding the appropriate classroom for your child.

Schedule
When:         September through May
Date:           Sunday Mornings
Time:          10:20 A.M. - 11:20 A.M. (after 9 A.M. worship)
Location:     Classrooms in lower level of the church

Curriculum
Currently a curriculum title of, "Kingdom Quest" is being used. This curriculum is a rotating curriculum which allows each child to learn about a broad range of bible lessons throughout their religious education from age 2 through 6th grade. This approach is used to avoid covering the same biblical lessons year after year. Kingdom Quest also takes an application approach by focusing discussions on how Bible lessons can apply to kids everyday lives.

Classes
We currently have five age groups for our Sunday School classes.
   .   Tiny Tots/Preschool - Ages two and three years old.
   .   Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarden - Ages four, five, and six.
   .   First and Second Grade
   .   Third and Fourth Grade
   .   Fifth and Sixth Grade
The number of children in each age group is assessed annually to determine if the classroom groupings should be reconfigured. There are times when there is a 'bubble' or large class size that would benefit from individual classes per grade level.

10:35 Puppet Presentation -- Reinforce Bible lesson
10:40 Break-Out to classrooms -- Craft, activity, games
11:05 Clean-up & Closing Prayer
11:10 Sunday School dismissal

Fifth and Sixth Grade Classes
