As a fellow mother of a preschooler, you are invited to join our local MOPS group for fun, fellowship, and encouragement during this season of parenting. At MOPS (which stands for Mothers of Preschoolers) we are dedicated to the message that "mothering matters." We offer a welcome break, a change to make new friends, and the opportunity to know that you aren't the only mom who goes through the struggles and joys of raising young children.

MOPS meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month (September through May) from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Childcare is provided for children birth through kindergarten (childcare check-in begins at 8:45 AM). The year is broken into two semesters (Fall/Winter and Spring). Registration is required for each semester.

Our group began its Fall/Winter semester on September 10, 2007. We are excited about this semester's MOPS program: we have some wonderful speakers, crafts, and discussion topics planned (such as secrets of simplicity, home repair tips, de-cluttering help, keeping romance alive, gardening ideas, discipline advice, our annual pampering day, and more!) Registration is now open, with fees of $35 per semester. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Once we reach childcare capacity, you will be placed on a waiting list and notified as soon as an opening exists.

If you are interested in joining our dynamic group, or if you know of a mother of preschoolers who would like to meet new friends, please contact Coordinator Kristal Templin . You may also visit www.MOPS.org to learn more. For our latest newsletter, click here.
