Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School June 19-23th, 2006.

This years program is Fiesta, Where Kids are Fired up about Jesus!

This year's Fiesta program has fun Bible learning activities for kids of all ages. Each day kids will sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, have snacks, take on a Daily Challenge to let God's love grow into their homes, experience cool Bible skits, collecte Bible memory Buddies to remind them of God's Word, and create great crafts. We will study Bible characters who are fired up about Jesus.

Preschoolers
VBS is offered for Children ages 2 1/2(potty trained)-5 at the church from 9-11:30am.
Preschoolers will have snack, do crafts, learn a bible lesson, play games, sing and worship together.

Kindergarten - 6th graders
Children beginning Kindergarten in the fall through children finishing 6th grade.
VBS is offered from 9-3:15pm each day at Walcamp in Kingston, IL
After our opening ceremony/music time we will then all board a bus for Walcamp. We will return to First Lutheran at 3:15pm. At Walcamp we will have snack, do a craft, play games, fish and swim, have lunch (sack lunch from home, except Friday lunch is provided), learn a bible lesson through skits and sing and worship together.

7th Grade to Adults are invited to take part in VBS by being Safari Crew leaders, or Game, Craft, Bible Skit, Snack, Chadder's Adventure and Fishing leaders.
